Starting a blog could be a heck of stress but once started, it becomes way easier than you might be stressing about, I built it in midnight!

A blog basically can be anything, Personal: a cluster of words filled with your thoughts and emotions or a professional one: writing for your business or some client on a website.

When blogging was first started, there were only a few hosting service providers like Google Blogger in 1999, but today, there are many service hosting providers out on the search engine which help you build your website overnight! Some popular classic web hosts are WordPress Org., Wix, Tumblr, Ghost, Weebly, Squarespace, Medium etc.

So the main task for starting a blog is choosing a platform to showcase your skills and also it variably depends whether you want to start a personal blog or a professional one: Wix is a beginner friendly website builder and WordPress Org. is a professional based website builder.

This data can be used as a reference to decide which platform is best for you to start writing and publishing your work. Wix takes over an edge for a beginner to other platforms in matters of blogging because:

  1. It has a beginner-friendly website builder system (aka WIX ADI).

  2. It provides you with a couple of (a bit limited) pretty templates customised according to your blog niche/preference.

  3. Customisable Widget Builder and CMS at WIX dashboard and editor.

  4. All of this at free (Excluding a personal customised domain and some restrictions)

If you are tech-savvy or consider yourself to be a good programmer and developer and deal with the coding of the website well, then without a doubt WordPress Org. is the right choice for you!

  1. It is a paid hosting service provider but will provide you with thousands of templates and many professional features to earn more penny of it than the investment cost itself.

  2. It is more difficult to run and design and website here, but there are tons of good youtube videos which give you a fair overview of how to run a website.

  3. It has an in-built SEO system in its CMS (what could be better!)

After having a comparison on these 2 popular platforms, it will be quite clear decide for you to decide what's best for you! After publishing and starting a blog it's a very easy step to keep continue with your work (what I am also doing right now): Writing! Thinking about creative edgy ideas and thoughts for your blog and making a difference!

If even after this you might be facing any issues to start blogging you can refer to this youtube video (related to WordPress) to how to get started!
